A firm that handles shipments from multiple firms, and is thus able
to negotiate lower rates than what a single business would achieve.

A discount for packages that are dropped off at a service center
or a pick-up box. Carriers using a drop-off discount incorporate
the cost of pickup into the regular price list.
Next Morning Service
Delivery by 10:30 am or noon. Carriers typically only offer next
morning service to metropolitan areas, with rural regions receiving
delivery in the afternoon.
Pick-Up Charges
Additional charges for packages that must be picked up by the
service. Pick-up charges are used by firms that do not incorporate
the cost of pickup into the normal rate schedule.

of Delivery
